Position: Advisor (Technology)
India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) is making relentless efforts to develop the country's semiconductors and display manufacturing ecosystem. Initiatives are being taken to create awareness, maximize outreach, talent pool generation, supply chain creation, etc. to reinforce the objective of attracting greater investment and participation in the Semicon India Program. To fulfill such objectives, ISM is looking to onboard candidates with relevant skill sets for the role of Advisor (Technology).

Eligibility condition
- Deep understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem including manufacturing, packaging, infrastructure, etc. required with 20+ years’ experience in the electronics industry/Semiconductor/display industry.
- In the case of retired Govt. officials: officers who retired from grade pay level 14 & above.
Desirable condition
- Relevant experience in semiconductor/display manufacturing.
Scope of Work
- Formulate a comprehensive long-term strategy for developing a sustainable semiconductor and display manufacturing ecosystem in the country.
- Examine the technical and financial viability of the proposals under the SemiconIndia Program.
- Facilitate the adoption of secure microelectronics and develop a trusted semiconductor & display supply chain.
- Review the disbursement requests raised by the applicants to whom the grant of incentives has been approved as per agreed milestones.
- Encourage relevant R&D activities in semiconductors and display industry spheres taking into consideration the latest developments.
- Recommend suitable courses/ programs to facilitate the development of a skilled talent pool in semiconductor and display segments.
Period of engagement
- Three Years, Extendable up to 2 years.
Remuneration
- Negotiable as per industry standards.
- No Dearness Allowance/ HRA is payable.
- The amount of remuneration so fixed shall increase by up to 10% during the contract period.
